How REACHA is changing the lives of Kashmiri Women

Since 2016, REACHA, under the leadership of Mr. Nikhil Pant, has been a driving force in empowering women in Baramulla through education and skill development. With changemakers like Archana Singh and Prabha Singh, they have built trust and created lasting impact in the region. Now, 75 young women are receiving professional training as Beauticians and Makeup Artists at the Chinar YUVA Centre—an opportunity that goes beyond beauty, sparking transformation in their lives.

Guided by expert trainers like Mehvish Majeed and Afroza Majeed, these young women are mastering makeup, beauty services, mehndi art, hairstyling, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and sustainable practices. This initiative is more than just technical education—it’s a launchpad for future freelancers, salon professionals, and entrepreneurs, ensuring financial independence and dignity.

With the leadership of Major Ankit Sharma, who brings compassion and vision, and the expertise of YOGEE Beauty & Wellness (YOGEZ), led by Dr. Yogessh Suraadkaar and Neha Suraadkaar, this program champions clean, ethical beauty—embracing 100% certified organic methods to honor Kashmir’s purity and protect its ecology.

The mission is clear: equip women with certified skills, create jobs and mentorship opportunities, and promote sustainable practices. Because when Kashmir’s daughters rise, the entire valley shines.
