AREUM NEXUS and OLA Corporation sign three export agreements worth US$600,000 while building a Korea–India market-entry platform.
India’s demand for Korean beauty products offers opportunities for Korean brands. Yet entering the market requires more than simply bringing products into the country. Brands must manage regulatory approvals, imports, and distribution. These include retail partnerships, localization, and market execution once they decide to enter India.
AREUM NEXUS PRIVATE LIMITED and Korea-based OLA Corporation are addressing this through a market-entry platform. The platform connects these functions between Korea and India.
The development comes as three export agreements for Korean beauty brands, each valued at US 600,000.
Connecting market entry with execution
The platform designers ensure that market entry and business operations work together. AREUM NEXUS and OLA Corporation bring these functions under one structure. This avoids brands coordinating separately with consultants, importers, distributors, and marketing agencies.
AREUM NEXUS manages the India-side operations, including regulatory and CDSCO coordination, import operations, distribution development, retailer relationships, localization and day-to-day business management.
OLA Corporation works with brands in Korea on export preparation, business development, brand strategy, marketing support and cross-border coordination.
The two companies therefore connect planning in Korea with execution in India.
Jason Rhee, CEO of AREUM NEXUS, says the challenges faced by international brands entering India extend beyond product demand. The focus, he says, is on creating a structure that connects market entry with the execution required to establish and operate a business in India.
From retail to salons and digital commerce
The model also involves developing different routes to market.
During the Korea–India Business Forum, AREUM NEXUS supported the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between OLA Corporation, FOY E Retail and Naturals Salon. Naturals Salon operates more than 900 locations across India.
The partnership creates opportunities for Korean beauty brands across retail, salon, distribution and digital commerce channels.
This approach reflects the different requirements involved in building a presence in India. While distribution can bring a product into the market, retail and salon networks can provide access to consumers and professionals, while digital commerce creates another route for sales and brand communication.
Next arrivals from Korea
The next brands planned for entry are skincare brands MOLVANY and RETURNU, which are scheduled to launch in India in Q3 2026 through AREUM NEXUS.
Both brands received interest from Indian distributors and industry participants at Cosmoprof India 2025 in Mumbai. Their India entry is planned in collaboration with FOY E Retail, with AREUM NEXUS supporting distribution, market development and their introduction to Indian consumers.
For AREUM NEXUS and OLA Corporation, Korean beauty is the starting point for a wider Korea–India business connection. The companies plan to continue developing partnerships and operational support for Korean businesses entering India.
The focus is therefore shifting from simply bringing Korean beauty products into India to creating the systems required to operate and grow them in the market.
